Mixing it up.

Today was lots of new stuff. We have a new, more complicated warm-up routine for the next 12 weeks, and our new strength skills are the front squat, clean, and shoulder press. I’ve never done the clean before (just the different positions), so that should be interesting. The gym was also rearranged a little bit. We didn’t have time for a met-con today, but if we’re doing cleans tomorrow, I have a feeling the same thing will happen:

Lift:
front squat 5×3 (65#)

I had a partner for the first time as well … don’t think I rested as much as usual between sets, but it still worked out okay.
