Ring push-ups of death.

Lift:
clean 5×2 (60# … scaled back to 55# for 2 sets to work on form)

Met-con:
15 minute cap

  • 800 meter run
  • 25 slam balls (15#)
  • 25 ring push-ups
  • 400 meter run
  • 25 slam balls
  • 25 ring push-ups
  • 200 meter run

Time: DNF

My first DNF — I got like 4 of the 2nd set of ring push-ups done before the clock ran out … but then again, most of the class didn’t finish. I was kind of expecting it since I hadn’t done ring push-ups before, and tried some before the met-con and was like OMG this isn’t going to end well (so much harder than regular ones).
