Editing, running.

June 9, 2006 | 11:58 am

I’ve finally started editing the journal at work after months of looking at hundreds of pictures, emailing authors over and over again, and trying to decipher the very disorganized image library (which gets old). Change is nice — especially when my fixes will be the ones that go to print

Tried running at the gym yesterday and I could only go in intervals that added up to maybe 5 or 6 minutes lol. It’s a lot more work than the elliptical (and thus I’m more sore), but hopefully if I alternate days of walking/jogging and the elliptical, I’ll get better. I’m also more awake even though my legs still hurt a little and I slept weird — yay.

Addicted to you.

May 10, 2006 | 11:58 am

So I got The Sims 2 on Monday, and wow. Most. Addicting. Game. Ever. I played for like 6 hours last night, but maybe that’s ’cause I played on my own lot instead of one of the presets and made Sim versions of me and Brian lol. It’s weird, I don’t notice time passing when I’m playing … I keep having to remind myself to look at the clock every now and then, otherwise I’d stay up all night without realizing it. If only that could happen with work

Sick.

April 6, 2006 | 10:06 pm

*sigh* Why do I have to be sick now? I don’t know what I have but my throat’s sore and I’m constantly tired but can’t fall asleep. In other bad news, did an awful job on my 3D project but that’s my fault so it’s barely worth mentioning … the pipe that drains the water from the kitchen sink got a hole in it today, so can’t wash dishes ’til LJ fixes it next week … have to register for classes tomorrow … only good thing is I didn’t fail my geology test (got an 86). I am so ready for this semester to be over

Berries & Cream fun.

April 2, 2006 | 12:24 am

I was at Food Lion earlier tonight and noticed a new flavor of Dr. Pepper, Berries & Cream, that was only available in a fridge pack (no 2-liter bottles, 6-packs, etc.). Because I always like to try new food items, I bought the whole fridge pack even though I don’t really care for any other flavor of Dr. Pepper  Surprisingly, I’m actually liking it (just finished a can) … kinda tastes like vanilla yogurt.

Not Kept anymore.

February 7, 2006 | 6:40 pm

No one’s joined my Kept fanlisting since October — that’s gotta be a sign to close it. Yeah I have fanlistings that aren’t too popular, and I hate closing them down, but why waste space when no one’s interested? Same goes for DSW which was opened weeks ago … how can there be no fans? :???:

Sunday night I was driving back to JMU (after the Superbowl) and from exits 40 to 18 on 66, I only saw and passed one car, which is rare for an 11 pm trip (81 had a normal amount of traffic). I also kept seeing shapes in the moonlit clouds … one was a question mark, and the other was a skull. Kinda cool.

Hate is a strong word.

February 5, 2006 | 1:18 pm

Hate headaches that won’t go away.

Also hate that my fully-charged computer battery was drained 2 minutes after turning it on, which has never happened before. My laptop has been acting funny lately … re-installing my iPod and flash drive software, Firefox taking up a lot of my CPU, Gmail freezing Firefox, making me restart randomly … I’m worried ’cause my friend’s computer has an AIM virus that sent me a message along the lines of, “should I put these pictures of us on facebook or myspace?” and then some sort of link. I clicked on it and when a box came up asking what program I wanted to open it with, I got suspicious. At first I thought she might’ve made a typo (the extension was .pif, which is really close to .gif), but then I noticed the link was disguised and when I replied to the message she told me it was a virus. I’m hoping that since I didn’t tell it what program to use that it didn’t install itself, but I don’t want to have to download a virus checker to find out.
