Another weekend.

January 10, 2003 | 11:44 pm

So today was cool — first I had Spanish, which sucked ’cause I was barely awake and somehow got stuck with reading the most from the book. Anatomy was easy ’cause she gave us time to work on our labs, so now mine’s almost finished. Double English was long … we had to do another AP exercise, and of course I hardly get any right. Stupid passage makes you think too much  Then for the second half we talked about Emma. Muy divertida.

Lunch was at the stables ’cause there was some sheep thing going on (umm what brought that about?), but I didn’t go ’cause I needed to pack and the food would probably make me sick. So during that whole event I took a shower, packed, and had cereal and yogurt for lunch, which was good. I got online for a few minutes to say hi to Brian and work out tonight’s details, then went to yearbook. Which I didn’t even need to go to — all she did was show us how to take good pictures and open up PageMaker and Photoshop on the computer. Duh. But once while she was walking around, she patted my chair and said, “I know this is review for you.” I was like yup. She let us out 15 minutes early (score), so I did what I’d been looking forward to all day — left!

Since Brian was still at work, I went to Fair Oaks for about a half hour until he got home. I went into Gap to see if they had anything worth spending my gift cards on, but since the store is really small and sucks, I didn’t get anything. Then Brian calls and says he’s running late, but that’s okay ’cause I go to his house anyway and watch TV ’til he gets home. When he gets there I’m like yay, and spend about an hour saying “hi” (lol) and happy we’re together again. We try to go to Sweetwater for dinner, but the wait is 67 minutes, so we’re like um no. I suggest Sino’s, so we have Chinese food instead. We got spring rolls, General Tso’s chicken, and beef lo mein — it was yummy.

Then we parted ways so Brian could go watch Star Wars II for the 1000th time (and enjoy 20-foot Yoda), so I went home, fed the cats and unpacked my stuff, then decided to go to Tysons ’cause it was only 7:30. I go to Gap there (’cause it’s big and doesn’t suck), and find two more sale items — a black, hooded, polartec jacket thing that’s really warm, and then these fuzzy red pj pants. Of course the pj pants I really wanted had a rip in the front (and there was only one of the small sizes left), so I had to forgo that. I also tried to find my size in the cool bras that unhook in the front, but that didn’t work either. So I just get the two fleeces, and then stop at CVS to get body wash and rinse. By then it’s like 9:15 (I spent forever in Gap, lol), so I go back home … and now I’m here. I’ve been working on my laptop deleting random files and transferring songs to the PC so I can make CDs later. Yay. But what I really should be doing is packing … ’cause this is the only weekend I have, haha. Yeah, so gonna go start that … adios!

Shopping, Caryn.

August 22, 2002 | 11:36 pm

Went to Fair Oaks and Bed Bath & Beyond tonight. Got a bunch of plastic bins, sheets, towels, shower basket, suitcase, power strip, birthday card for Aunt Ann, wall hook … and I think that’s it. And at Fair Oaks, I got some more shoes at Payless. So yay.

Damn, my Hanson friend Caryn wrote me and sent me some art and a new picture of her to put up on WNC — and geez, she could definitely be a model. Wish I looked like that, but oh well.

Thanks to Blogger for taking like 100000 years to post this

Another layout, Payless shoes.

August 2, 2002 | 1:31 am

Now this layout is awesome! Hehe … like Brian said, stuff was hard to read, and although you can resize the individual frames now, I dunno how you get the whole window to. But oh well.

Man, Shaune’s having another party (at the condo if she can find the keys) this weekend — at least that’s what she just told me. Again, I dunno if I’ll spend the night, but maybe. I think my dad’s calmed down a little. Plus, I gotta get in as much fun as I can before school starts … ’cause once that happens, I won’t be having a lot.

I went to Fair Oaks tonight for lack of something better to do, and after spending like 1 1/2 hours there trying to decide what to get (clothes or fire stuff), at the last minute I decided I wanted these shoes (well, sandals) I was looking at in Payless earlier. So I go and get them right before they closed — yay! They’re really comfortable … and my next shoe purchase will probably be a pair of Payless clogs lol.

Anyway, well I’m gonna go to bed now so I’m not unmotivating-ly (is that a word?) tired tomorrow … so bye! Grr, I also gotta read more *sigh* Stupid summer reading.

Oh yeah, and guess who IMed me today? Sunny. I was like wtf, why the hell do you keep IMing me? I have you blocked for a reason. So before I can block him again he tells me he’s over Manson, into raving, and is a firefighter. Right  But oh well, hopefully he won’t bug me again — I made it really obvious that I was still mad at him.

Ballston, new plates.

February 15, 2002 | 7:37 pm

Man, I dunno why, but I always feel better after I go shopping. Earlier today Ross came up to me and was like, I’m going to Ballston. At first I was like okay, but then I put two and two together and decided to go with him, since I’d been thinking about going there too. Here’s what I got: The Calling’s CD Camino Palmero (for $10!), the Vanessa Carlton single “A Thousand Miles,” and this cool hemp necklace with white beads. So yeah, I’m shopping-happy now, hehe. Also, at the little booth where I got the necklace, I saw this awesome punk-y choker (black with silver studs, about two inches in width), and I really wanted that too, but it was $20, so I was like no. But oh well, I’m still happy. I’m listening to Camino Palermo (lol Jay) right now, and it’s so good! I really recommend it to anybody who likes Lifehouse or Puddle of Mudd. Or just alternative rock songs that actually mean something.

Brad-wise, he’s in the back of my mind now … I’m trying not to get all depressed over him while I can help it, though I know that when he comes back on Sunday afternoon I’ll probably slip back into my little depression oblivion again. But hopefully Neil will be able to help me get through that, so it’s all good.

Grandpa’s coming tomorrow, so wonder what we’ll do. Hopefully we’ll go to the Lebanese Taverna for dinner (the food there is amazing), but who knows … we might go somewhere else.

Oh, and guess what? Dad ordered my new plates for the Toyota today, and guess what I finally decided on … I figured MMMBOP was too girly, and besides, I don’t listen to only pop anymore, so I chose what Brad and Shaune thought was good: FYRGRL! I couldn’t do FIR3GRL (what I really wanted) since the character limit changed from 7 to 6, but oh well. FYRGRL still rocks for me  And I got a “horse enthusiast” plate background, so hopefully it’ll all turn out cool. I wonder when (and how) it’ll come.

P.S. OMG, Starbucks’ new white chocolate mocha coffee is so good! Everyone must go out and try it — white chocolate stuff is the best.

Good day, bad day.

August 31, 2001 | 12:19 pm

Yum. Just finished a pack of Arthur chewy fruit snacks. LOL. I’m addicted to those things. Anyway, today was a good day for getting my mind off Brad, lol. Seeing as how I’m already sliding into depression even though we haven’t officially broken up yet *sigh* I still can’t believe it … I am so not looking forward to another long time of singleness — hopefully Alex or that other guy from MatchMaker will find some kinda romantic spark in me, lol. But oh well.

Onto the good stuff. The Toyota now has a new CD player and radio! Plus new blue fire seat covers! Yay! I was so happy when Dad let me get the seat covers, ’cause they match the steering wheel cover and dice … so yeah. Can’t wait to put them in tomorrow. Then he got me a new bluish/purplish phone for my room since the other one broke. It’s cool ’cause now I have a cordless and can program my own speed dial numbers, haha. Can’t wait ’til it’s finished charging (is 16 hours too long of an initial charge time? I think so!) … and then (no “and then”!), I got a fire folder, pencil case, and shoelaces (yes, I know, very random) at Hot Topic. Dunno what I’m gonna use the shoelaces for (folder and pencil case = school) … just thought they looked cool. And hey, they were only $2.50.

Dammit, Alex needs to get on. He said he got back from New York tonight. Even though I don’t know when, I gotta talk to him about hopefully seeing him tomorrow. ‘Cause I’m going to New York (a different part, lol) on Sunday … and then like 2 days after I get back I get to go to school for like forever, lol … so I wanna see him again before hell starts *sigh* I still wonder what he thinks of me … whether he likes me as a friend or as more than that … oh well *shrugs* Ooh, happy thought: wonder if he’ll wanna call me at school? LOL, I dunno, whatever he wants to do is cool with me.

I think I’ve run out of things to say now, but since I got nothing else to do online, I figure I’ll blab until I either get too tired to type or until Alex gets on. Haha.

Okay, ’cause I’m bored, I’m gonna write out what I’m gonna wear tomorrow and crap like that *insert usual morning shower first* Shirt = new Gap shirt I got yesterday: black and sleeveless with this red and white Ed’s Diner/vintage-looking stuff on it, and my flare Gap pants. Damn, I’m going “Gap-py”, aren’t I? LOL. For shoes I’m probably gonna wear my sneakers in case I drive there (and they’ll go with the shirt anyway). Accessories = new fire necklace I got last night at Tysons, watch, and hair band … maybe silver ring if it looks right. Then I just gotta toss my fire wallet into the van (yes, if you haven’t noticed yet, I’m obsessed with fire stuff), grab the keys, and go. That’s assuming I get the van. Hopefully Dad will believe another one of my spending-the-day-with-Shaune stories and not find out that I went all the way to Maryland. And that’s assuming Shaune still wants to go and can go and won’t leave me stranded again. Oh well, at least I know the way this time. And if Shaune has to pick me up from here, that’s fine, too. As long as it’s cool with her (and Alex) that we spend the day at his (amazing) place, I’m happy. And it’ll take some of the Brad-sadness off me (hopefully).

Oh well … what to write … Alex still isn’t on, haha. I’m beginning to think that he won’t get on at all tonight. Hmm … maybe he got a late flight or whatever and is dead tired or something. And obviously already went to bed. Although it’s only 12:41 am now. I’ll stay on like another half hour and if he doesn’t show up then I’m going to sleep. And hey, if he doesn’t show up tomorrow either, I can still call Shaune and we can do something else … like go to the pool or show off our new fire stuff to each other or something. Haha, that’d be funny … showing off our fire stuff. Makes you wonder what else people do when they’re bored. LOL.

Ah, yay! Alex just got on! *dances around the room* Haha, sorry, mini-teeny attack there  Grr … one question: why is it that guys never message you first? Why’s it always gotta be that you’re the first to message them? Does anyone else find that annoying? Well gonna go now and talk to Alex, so TTYL!

Okay, cross out me going to Alex’s. He can’t. And insert the whole above rambling into Tuesday or Wednesday when I probably will see him. And insert me trying out my new phone, fire stuff, and car tomorrow … and hopefully seeing Shaune if she has time. Yeah, I’m kinda bummed about not being able to see him … but yay, he said *hugs* at the end of our convo. Hehe. Things are well in the world of Claire.
